Currie V Ellon U18

U18 travelled to top of the table Currie in Edinburgh. Currie has an elite team at U18 with a squad of 45 boys to choose from, playing in both the National League and the local league. Ellon always knew it would be a hard game, but they put up a strong fight. However once Currie broke the line, they continued to attack with ruthlessness and really showed why they are the top U18 team. Aaron Bonner scored a consolation try with a conversion by Paul Paxton, to make the final score 90 – 7. A break this week might give the Ellon team a chance to rest some aching bodies and recover a few injured ones.
