U18 loose at home to Dunfermline

U18 head coach Ross Finlay was away with the SRU for the weekend and the very capable Scott Munro took over for the weekend. But again a lack of players led to Ellon’s downfall. With a squad of 25 only 15 were available due to courses and injuries. This became 14 with an early injury, and in this league that is going to be punished. All teams in the league are very capable and a full team with subs is really needed. Dunfermline were a team Ellon would normally beat, but the short numbers and tired bodies where to be their undoing. Final score was 17 31, with Reece Christie, Aaron Bonner and Andrew Forbes all scoring tries and converted 2 by James Evans.
