Match Preview

This weekend sees Granite City travel to Ellon for the first return game. Half way through the season and U15 doing well, but a loss to Gordonstoun in the last game that the team should have won, will fire them forwards.
Last time against Granite City it was a development game, with Ellon lending players over and an automatic win for Ellon. A frustrating game, mixed with low number scrums and then uncontested for a while.
This time Granite City should have a team and play a competitive game. Ellon have a few changes as Stevie Gray, who has been playing, training and working hard in the gym, is given a start at U16 at stand off. Adam Kinmond may also get game time at U16 form the bench. To be decided that afternoon.
Dylan Kemp and Finlay Ritchie will be playing U14.
These changes allows other U15 players to start and hopefully get a full game. Archie Falconer moves to Flanker from outside centre to see how he works in the forwards, Mat Lusher starts at inside centre, Adam Fowlie returns at outside centre for his first game this season after coming back from injury and Jamie Young starts on the left wing.
Mackie take on Dundee, Perth play Gordonstoun, so if Ellon win they move up one place minimum in the league.
