Excellent weather and pitch conditions set the scene for this semi final fixture , thanks go to Peterhead for allowing us the use of their facilities to allow the game to be played.

The first half started with both Ellon and Mackie trading attacking moves. Mackie were the first to break through the Ellon defence on the 5 minute mark, they continued to apply pressure to the Ellon defensive line and ran in 5 tries in the first half.

The second half continued in much the same way as the first, with Mackie running in 6 tries . Ellon did manage to pull 1 try back after a good attacking move with Caleb Jack breaking through the Mackie defence to score. The Ellon defence were slow at times and Mackie were quick at the breakdowns, taking advantage of some strong attacking runs.

This was a physical game that everyone was committed to , with Mackie now progressing to the final of the competition.
