Ellon S1/2 v Aberdeen Wanderers

A close game in the first third with only 1 try each, both teams running sideways with the ball too much and not passing, however the tackling was excellent. The second third Ellon scored two more and converted one, compared to Wanderers one try. Rucking from Wanderers was excellent with guys really targeting the drive and creating space to win the ball, however too many penalties and they gave the game away. With the lead Ellon took the game to Wanderers in the final third, scoring two more well worked tries using backs and forwards, with Andrew Arthur having a great day kicking the ball. Final score was 18 – 6 to Ellon.
