Ellon u13 V Aberdeen Grammar (AWAY)

A 66-28 win in our second league came as another great result for the squad.

The weather was hot and the rugby really sizzled.

Noah captained the side for his second time and over seen a game that yielded 10 tries with 8 conversions.
It was a great return for the effort the whole squad put in.

Again we swapped a few players around position to get in more development.
Today this improved our ball distribution and allowed us to develop more tries and space on the wings.

You know you are in a good place when there are areas for improvement even in such a resounding win.
This was a highlighted by Grammar with their aggressive counter rucking and scrummaging.

The squad haven't practiced scrummages and putting in extra numbers to rucks for no other reason than they haven't needed those platforms
to win their games. So once we start to include these aspects into our game it will be great to see the impact it will make during game time.

There were many great performances, highlights included great physicality, elusive running and strong tackling;
with some players scoring multiple times. Great link up play was also on show.

However, there was one player that put on a complete performance which encompassed all of these facets along with exceptional goal kicking.
