U16 beat Caithness at home

Due to a number of injuries and unavailability we were able to blood 9 U15 players who didn’t have a fixture. With the make-up of the team being half and half, this was an excellent performance against a stuffy Caithness side. Some notable performances in the forwards was Stuart Ovell who was forever in the middle of things defensively and had a few line breaking runs, together with Ruari Taylor. In the back a solid performance from Nathan Shirron who shared scrum half and stand-off duties with Callum Addy and Aaron Bonner who had some fine line breaks. Special mention to Euan Cowie and Ryan Notton who guested a half each for the opposition, who travelled down with only 14. Next week’s fixture is in Aberdeen against Aberdeen Wanderers
