A tough match today with an excellent performance from the boys. Scoring was kicked off with an excellently read and timed interception from Dylan Wood. Dundee came back strong rucking well and scoring a couple of good tries. Half time was level at 12-12.

2nd half was much the same with Dundee giving us a lesson in rucking, but some really strong running put Ellon in the lead. Boys have taken on board what they were working on this week, support play was excellent and there was a lot of communication in both attack and defence. Defence was very good with a committed effort from all even when pinned down on their own line. Things to work on primarily rucking and also dropping back quickly to face penalties, both improved as the match went on.

Things that were excellent, tackling, support play and communication. Overall every single player played with utter determination, commitment and heart. Well done. Player's player is shared between Dylan Wood and Tyler, both thoroughly deserved. Coaches player goes to Odhran, who set a fine example and played out of his skin, this was also commented on by the Dundee coaches, well done. Final score 28-20.
