P4 match report Garioch - Well done all! Our last match together and another fantastic performance - 2nd place overall.
Started with another comprehensive win of our group 6-0 mackie red, 5-3 against a good Garioch team where we dealt really well with their blond flyer and neutralised the threat. We also beat Wanderers 6-1.
What is so pleasing is the quality of play, the kids have really matured and our continuity in attack is pretty much unrivalled. There is always someone on the shoulder shouting for the ball and in our case a high degree of probability they will get the pass.
Into the final and the old enemy Mackie Black, we prevailed last week, unfortunately not this week, after a few early injuries we struggled to close a try gap. Recovered a couple of tries later in the game but not our day!
It's our last competative event together and Donna, Geoff and I are so proud of their efforts on the training park and at the events all season. Thanks all for your support!
Geoff will make the call for training this Thursday! Unfortunately I have torn my hamstring as you know in the last game I ref 'd so will be laid up next couple weeks.
But stay tuned for our end of season award day where we will all come together for end of season awards and fun!
