U18 with dramatic last minute win

After an eventful bus journey down to Glasgow (sun, lots of wind, rain and snow) we arrived at the ground to find a pitch in near perfect condition, however the snow and wind started soon after arrival!
We started slowly and GHA took the initiative and pinned us in our own half for the first five minutes until from a penalty in front of our posts they faked a kick to touch and tapped to their full back on the charge who ran in untouched under the posts and converted to make it 7-0.
After the score we began to force our way into the game and use the strong wind at our backs to pin GHA in their own half leading to a penalty in front of the posts which Paul Paxton completed to make it 7-3.
Both teams were throwing everything at one another in a very even contest, but with the wind we were able to clear our lines whenever GHA got into our 22 and after one of those kicks, we forced them into a mistake and after some well worked phases from the edge of their 22 James Evans crashed over for a score, which Paul converted to make it 7-10.
The remainder of the half was more of the same but no more scores. HT 7-10
The second half was just as even as the first with both sides doing their utmost to score. GHA were putting some phases together and eventually found a gap to score near the posts. Unfortunately for GHA their conversion was missed which was to prove costly for the home side.
After the score Ellon were having to put the phases together with the wind and snow in their faces but whenever we got into their 22 they were able to turn us over and clear their lines.
This sequence continued for nearly all of the second half. Ellon were doing most of the attacking but some great defending from GHA kept us out until well into injury time we were awarded a penalty in their 22 slightly to the left of the posts. After a discussion with the referee with regards score and time left, Ellon elected to kick. Paul Paxton coolly stroked it over.
And the referee blew for full time 12-13 win for Ellon.
