Ellon U16s Build momentum in time for National Cup Quater Final by winning three in a row and going top of Champs league.
A Wednesday night trip to Moray proved a good event all round as the Ellon
players built well for their important National Cup home quarter final at the Meadows on the 15th against Gala Red Triangle.
After a good start the boys fell into a lull as Moray looked to continue their own good performances over the past month and by half time the Ellon players had put 21 points on the board to 5 from Moray.
With a renewed vigour the second half started in a flourish and some further scores enabled to impose their good fluid play further onto the game running out 36 to 10 winners by the time the final whistle blew.
This all bodes well for the 15th as the Ellon U16s are keen to continue in the National Cup but again have no room for complacency as they prepare this week.
Every player is very aware that Gala will be a strong test for them but will go into the game with no fear.
