U18 Girls v Murrayfield Wanderers

Ellon Rugby U18 Girls team headed to Murrayfield Wanderers to play the National Cup Semi Final. Murrayfield are one of the best teams in Scotland, although this didn’t put the Ellon Girls off as they scored an early try in the shadow of BT Murrayfield Stadium. At 5 5 Ellon pushed hard, but were well beaten at the rucks. Murrayfield then stepped up a gear and eventually comfortably beat Ellon. Ellon now play in the National Shield Final at BT Murrayfield on Friday 25th March (Good Friday), against Hillhead Jordan or Biggar.
