Ellon U14 played their best performance of the season, finally getting the forward pods working well as they drove up the park. A little too much carry by the 9 and 10, when we should have gone wide and a little too many dropped balls in contact by the forwards, was the difference in this game. Ellon also only had 16 while Gordonstoun a full bench well used. The first third finished 7-3 with Ben Dickie scoring the Ellon try by sniping over from 9. Second third was 7-4 with Dylan Kemp driving over and Dickie converting. Final third Ellon won 5-8 with a dominant possession of the ball and the players finally really got their aggression going. Scores for Finlay Hagen and Adam Fowlie with conversions to Dickie and Ewan Orus. Final score 20 - 15 in what could have been a win, but still a good performance.
