With no rugby at Ellon this weekend, other results went their way!

Nice for the results to go our way, but we have one game left and we will be playing to win big.
- Peter McCartin, Head Coach.
Stornoway travelled to Shetland for their last game of the season and lost 22 – 19, only gaining a bonus point. Lochaber also lost heavily to Deeside, which helped the final position for Ellon.
The table now shows Stornoway having completed all their fixtures and have less points than Ellon, so cannot finish above them! With Kinloss already relegated for withdrawing from the league, there should only be 2 teams relegated. Lochaber may have lost at the weekend, but they have three games left to get above Stornoway. The first of these is against Ellon Saturday at 15:00 at the Meadows. Ellon will be looking for a good performance to finish the season and get as high up the table as possible.
Deeside’s win means they are the top team and will be promoted to Caledonia One for next season, unless they have to have a play off against Caledonia 2 South top team.
Caley Three is a two horse race with Highland Second XV leading the way for promotion to Caledonia 2 North, with two games left.
This Sunday S1/2 will be playing Madras at the Meadows. Hopefully 11:00, but to be confirmed.
