190901 U14 Granite City

The U14s really turned up today and were determined to apply in the match what they have worked on a lot over the past couple of weeks.

Levels of communication and organisation really started showing today as well, with the team structure and decision making being immensely improved because of it. The lads used their pods to reset the attack really well today; then when they went to the backs, they really tried to spin it wide and utilise the space.

Defence was really effective again today and the lads are really starting to benefit from working together in stopping anyone breaking our defensive line. With no way through the Ellon defence, Granite City tried to spin it wide and go around our main defensive line. Very pleased to see our defence up quickly, working hard and the backs into the defensive line to ensure we filled the field.

Some outstanding performances all round today - V Well done to all the lads today. Lets work hard this week in training to ensure we're ready for the next the match...….. Bring it on Mackie.....!! ;-)
