Youth section were the only teams to play this weekend.

No First XV game last weekend as it was the international break. However the Youth played Dundee away, all on Sunday.
First up U18 played, making use of some player rotation, it was a prefect opportunity for some lads to get a decent amount of game time. Ellon won the game 7-28.
Also with early kick offs after the 2 minute silences, U13 took a well matched game in the last 10 minutes, 12-21, while U14 battled away against a very physical Dundee team. With the incidents not getting picked up, It led for a frustrating game which Dundee took at the end.

The later kick offs for U15 and U16 meant arriving at Dundee in the rain after the bus south, Ellon U16 found out it was a development game with Dundee short of a few players. Playing 10s to start with and then to 11 aside when a player turned up. Ellon just rolled subs the whole game, but found that the constant changes made it harder for the boys to focus. This led to Ellon giving spells of 10 minutes for the players. All with equal game time.
Not too much for the players to work on this week as it was hard for them with an unstructured game. Passing had improved between the half backs, plenty of kicking in the game, and the second half offloading from the ground was excellent with a couple of really good tries.
Ellon scored 12 tries and 6 conversions to win the game on the day 29 72.
U15 game was delayed 20 minutes for Dundee players to arrive, but ended up development anyway as Dundee could only field 12. Ellon lent a player over and played a full game. Score ended up very high to Ellon.
Next up is three home games in a row, with Gordonstoun first, followed by Mackie and then Deeside to finish the conference.
