Ellon S1 and S2 merge together this weekend to play Madras in St Andrews.
Madras who play all the time as S1/2 combined have been on form this season and come up against an Ellon team who usually play as Separate age bands. However both squads have combined a number of times before to perform and with no game in 2016 they are champing to get going. With an 11:00 on the pitches near the "old Course" it is an early start for Ellon, but going to a location they have played a few times as Juniors.
There are a couple of S2 players helping at U15, but the team is still made up of 10 S1 and 10 S2. Played at S1 rules, but with 15 aside, it is looking like a great game.
