Over 40 boys attended along with their coaches, for a great meal provided at a great price by one of Ellon’s top hotels. Great to see the local hotel supporting the youth of the town.
At the dinner Head of Youth Rugby awarded Archie Falconer a personal award for most influential player for Ellon Rugby U15 in the Lancer Conference. Gareth had the following to say: “It was a very good conference for Ellon Rugby as a whole. Top of it all was the U16 with their win of the Conference, and for U18 and U15 to come second individually and the club to come second over all was also a great achievement”. “The club will keep going the next few months for the National and Caledonia Cups we are in, then push forward in the Conference next season”.

Ellon Rugby would like to wish all their players and supporters, including the whole town of Ellon and surrounding area, a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. They hope to see you at the Meadows in the near future.
Ellon Rugby restart in early January, with games scheduled for the 6th January for the First XV and U18.
