SCOTTISH GOLDEN OLDIES 9TH FESTIVAL IS COMING TO TOWN!

In what will be a huge club event (probably the biggest held at Ellon), the event is a whole family day out, and as such there will be no training that day, but we welcome everyone to come down to the Meadows for the day. The rugby will be 11:00-17:00 and played by 10 teams over 2 pitches. No scores are kept and it is all about the fun and sportsmanship. The "Festival Village" will be open all day, to include BBQs, Hog Roast, stalls, Ice Cream van, whole of the Paddock is dedicated to child and adult friendly events (bouncy castle, rugby ball bouncy tent! etc!). There will be a bar run by our friends at the Tollbooth, which will be a huge Beer Tent near the pitches. Bar will be open from 11:00-24:00).
A dedicated team has been working hard in the background to set this event up, and we now need the whole clubs help. WE ARE NEEDING VOLUNTEERS ON THE DAY TO HELP RUN CERTAIN ASPECTS, such as, BBQ, Car park attendant, stewards. We need as many as possible so that we can share the duties.

This will be a huge fundraiser with all profits going to Ellon Rugby.
