Octobers Club Person of the Month nominations for your consideration;
Terri Brown
As not only did she single handedly organise a fab ladies day but whilst sorting all of that she manned the cake stall for Judith and still had time to greet and welcome all the ladies who attended.
Doug Yeats (2 Nominations)
A real fixture at the club, someone who is always around and willing to help with any tasks needing done. Keeps our spirits up and I know the U14 lads are fond of him. Wine waiter extraordinaire at the last ladies day almost single handedly managing to keep 40 odd wine glasses filled. He gives of his time freely and has remained committed even through some ups and downs away from the club. I'd love to see him recognised.
I nominate Doug yeats for dedication to waiter service at ladies day ( you all did a good job but Doug took it very seriously)
John McCluskey (2 Nominations)
For stepping into look after the U16's and doing a great job for the last couple of seasons- also for his enthusiasm for coaching the girls now on a Monday night while he is also coaching the U16s and in the future when he takes over coaching the girls.
John is a excellent Coach, full stop! He shows total commitment and dedication. It would be sinful for him to not get a mention after all his hard work and effort towards our U16's this Season.
[Sinful no less!!]
I wouldn’t normally accept a dual nomination but these two go together like Hotdog and Chips Stephen Brown and Steve Anderson
following the quick organisation of the tournament to murrayfield last week.
2nd Month in row this man has been nominated it’s our very own “Rowdy” Matty Pearce (2 Nominations)
as the man week in week out turns up to training. Plays games home and away even with a young family. Put up post protectors flags, washes the kit for the first team. And also is the team manager for the 1st XV. Incredible the amount of work he does and doesn't moan about it. He was also instrumental in organizing the 1st XV trip away to Shetland ensuring everyone had meal tickets room allocations.
IT guru and 1st 15 player, try scorer and general good guy.
On a personal level Matt has been helping out at training and at festivals with the Maxis and Minis for the last 6 seasons or so. The kids totally warm to him and I remember him being swamped with heaps of Mini Micros hanging off of him during some games.
Peter McCartin
Peter is always smiling, enjoys what he is doing and is a great asset to ERFC. His style of helping our coaches and the work he does with them I feel is invaluable and a deserved winner.
