We are now seeking to appoint a new Club Coach. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the Senior Club coaching, with particular emphasis on maximising player potential and developing the Ellon First XV further. Currently Ellon Rugby are in Caledonia 2N, but with a stated ambition to go further in future seasons. We are a proud club looking to regain its standing in the NE.
You will preferably be qualified to UKCC Level 2, or working towards achieving this level, with previous coaching experience, be able to demonstrate both good communication and motivational skills whilst providing strong leadership of the group. Ellon Rugby will fully support you in your coaching development.
Key responsibilities of the role will include planning, developing and managing coaching sessions; player retention and recruitment; individual player development; assisting First XV Manager and Captain with team selections; taking the lead role ‘pitch-side’ at home matches and also at frequent away fixtures. This post is fully supported by the club.
The position is currently a voluntary role, however reasonable expenses will be considered by the Management committee, and key target bonuses can be discussed.
Applicants should send a CV and covering email to firstname.lastname@example.org
As one of the leading Youth and Junior Clubs in Scotland, we aim to have a First XV where the young players we develop are able to continue playing for Ellon at a high level.
Our efforts towards both Boys and Girls Youth Rugby, are no less diminished due to our search for a Senior Rugby Coach. Anyone interested in getting involved with Youth Coaching, Youth Team Management etc are, as always, encouraged to discuss further with Gareth Kemp, Ellon Rugby Director of Rugby, by email email@example.com or by phone 07841 758490.
