This Saturday sees a big day for Ellon Rugby!

Ellon First XV are out of the Autumn International break which saw three weeks of no game, and now travel to Moray in Elgin, who are third in the league. Moray will be a tough test for the Ellon team, who are looking to maintain their 100% record this season and maintain their dominance of the league.

Ellon Youth possibly face the most important day of rugby in a long time! This Saturday they travel to Elgin also, but to play the private school Gordonstoun. It is the last set of games in the Lancer Conference and sees Ellon going for three League trophies! The overall “Whole Club” League is up for grabs, with Ellon sitting top of the league with 100 points and Gordonstoun second with 98. U16 are pushing to win their individual league. Sitting top of the league, they need to win to take the cup. While U15 are also pushing for their U15 League win. Gordonstoun are top and a win for Ellon U15 will see them draw in the league, but decided on the highest placed overall team (which would be Ellon if the clubs wins two games)!
Ellon have this League in their own hands. Not needing to rely on any other clubs results. If Ellon Rugby win 2 games at U18, U16, U15 or U14; they win the Overall Lancer Conference! (With all U13 games attracting 2 points per team for playing).
Games are Saturday morning between 10:30 and 11:30 KOs.
No games for Juniors or Girls this weekend.
